That sounds like quite an imbroglio.

  • Interviewer: Have you heard from Ryan Gosling since you told Rolling Stone that he came up to you at a Jamba Juice but you shut him down because you didn't recognize him?
  • Aubrey Plaza: I actually did hear from him one time. He invited me to a magic show through someone else, and I couldn’t go because I had to go to this charity thing for Amy, and it was like, "bros before hos," or "hos before bros," however that phrase goes. I just rhymed a lot. So, yeah. I don’t know what’s in store for me and him. I think he has a girlfriend, but maybe I’ll murder her someday and we’ll be together forever.

30 Day Parks and Recreation Challenge
19. Favorite Romantic Relationship
Andy & April
Okay, while this isn’t an “official” relationship yet, it’s almost one. Or almost was one…Andy and April are such a cute match, and you can tell they’re obviously into each other but these little things kept getting between them. Their chemistry was always there and I was anxiously awaiting them to finally get together and be a couple. So hopefully their relationship will evolve into an official one in season 3.

Aubrey: I was a Page for 4 months
….
Jay: Did you get a chance to interact with any of the big celebrities?
Aubrey: Umm, kinda. Well, I have a Katie Couric moment. The first week I was there, I ran into her in an elevator. And it was kinda funny because, the way the elevators work in 30 Rockefellar is you have to press the number before you get on the elevator for security reasons, so if you forget to press the number and you get on then you just go wherever the other people are going. It’s kind of a rookie mistake. But it happens, sometimes you just forget. And I was in the elevator, and I had pressed my number properly and then she got in and she forgot to press a number and then she realized it and was like “Oh shoot, I didn’t press a number, uhhh, I guess I’m gonna go where you’re going”. And I was like “Are you new here, Miss? Because I can help you, I can teach you about the elevators, if you’re new”. And she kinda stared at me for a while, and then I smiled and she was like “Oh, you’re funny”! And I was like “Katie Couric, don’t leave me”. But she did.

Leslie: Okay, look I know these guys didn’t turn out to be exactly how we thought they would be.
Tom: You said they might not know what toilet paper is.
Leslie: I’m calling an audible. We can’t be humble anymore. What we’re gonna do is we’re gonna take them to our best park and we’re gonna blow their socks off.
April: Yeah, I don’t think that’s gonna blow their socks off.
Leslie: Fine, we’ll go further. We’ll take ‘em to Chicago and pretend it’s part of Pawnee, or New York! Or London! No, wait, the money’s different there, they’ll figure it out. Okay, never mind, we’ll go to the park.
